IRAP Assessor Training
The Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) includes the ISM and IRAP fundamentals courses, and an exam.
Upon successful completion, participants may apply to the ASD to become an ASD-endorsed IRAP Assessor.
Pre-requisites to applying to be an IRAP Assessor as per Australian Signals Directorate website:
Australian citizenship
Minimum of five years of technical ICT experience with at least two years of information security experience securing systems using the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and supporting publications
Evidence of relevant ICT and auditing qualifications, one from Category A and one from Category B (viewable at Who are IRAP Assessors? | Cyber.gov.au)
Successfully complete an IRAP Training Course (ISM & IRAP Fundamentals courses) through an ASD-approved IRAP training provider such as the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre
Successfully complete ASD examination
It is your responsibility to ensure you meet the ASD requirements to become an IRAP Assessor.
To re-sit the IRAP exam at least 4 calendar months from the original exam must have passed. This re-sit is available for previous training participants of the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre.
The re-sit exam is run on the fifth day (Friday) of any scheduled 5-day IRAP training.
All exams are via an online platform. You can join any scheduled exam whether the training is in-person or virtual.
Cost: No charge

IRAP Readiness Training
This training is ideal for organisations required to be IRAP Assessed. The IRAP Readiness Training includes the ISM and IRAP fundamentals courses, and no exam. The training will provide a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and process to facilitate and streamline your organisation’s IRAP Assessment and minimise the disruption to your organisation.
Participants will receive a certificate of course completion from the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre.
Duration: 4.5 days
In-Person Cost: $3750 + GST per person, fully catered
Virtual Cost: $3600 + GST per person

ISM Fundamentals
The purpose of the ISM Fundamentals Training is to outline a cyber security framework that organisations can apply, using a risk management framework, to protect their information and systems from cyber threats. Please refer to the course contents for ISM for more information.
Participants will receive a certificate of course completion from the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre.

IRAP Re-Certification Exam
Existing IRAP Assessors who have not completed an IRAP Assessment in the past 3 years will need to complete a re-certification exam.
The re-certification exam is run on the fifth day (Friday) of any scheduled 5-day IRAP training.
Once your invoice is paid, you will be provided with some resources to assist in preparing for your exam
